Even though they might not find out and you can get away with it , never lie to your parents. Sooner or later they may find out. Parents expect you to be honest with them. so you can earn their trust, and, lying to your parents about your location etcetera is not needed. I learned the hard way that honesty is always the best policy with just one night one the town. There was this infamous awaiting Summer Bash party held the first weekend of August. Anybody who is somebody will be attending this extravagant party. “What are you going to style and profile in for the party?” Ariel asked. “I have to go shopping as soon as possible!” This outfit had to be on point! The music was blasting, along with other things. Everyone was dancing and having a tremendous time. People from all over Arkansas came to the party. It was JAM PACKED with all different types of people. Chill vibes circulated through the air and people were having a good time. Not one soul complained about anything, and then it happened. It was about twelve a.m. when the altercation started, and then it simmered down. So, we thought that was a good time to leave. OH NO! We were wrong. As we were driving out to head back, we got stopped by the police. A neighbor had called the police and we had no idea. The police officer took us down to the station and detained us. We were not there because we were the altercation starters. The reason they took us up there, was due to Monticello’s curfew. We had no idea they had a curfew, and we were well over the eleven p.m. curfew now due to the delay.
