Since I was little my favorite thing to watch on TV would be murder shows that where based on true stories. I would stay up all night watching these shows. Most of my friends found it weird but I felt like this is something that keeps me from being naïve to this world we live in. I was thirteen around the time. So by now I had watch almost a thousand murder shows and I thought I had heard it all. Well I was wrong. This is a story I would never forget. I remember it because it was hard for me to believe that something so horrendous could not only be committed by someone young but to innocent people. Charlie was her name but her friends and family called her mickey because of her love for Mickey Mouse. It was the early 2000’s most teens He was filled with anger because Mickey didn’t want to be with him. So he decides to something unbelievable, unthinkable and unimaginable. He goes to her basement grabs the ax and heads back up stairs. Takes the ax and brutally murdered one by one, starting with Mickey then, her best friend to her mom next her little brother then her baby cousin. But this wasn’t the end of this blood trail. A few days go by and no one hears from the family so people got scared and asked Mickey’s father to stop by the house and check on them. So heads to the house and he walks in the house having no idea of what has taken place. He sees blood and his family laying there in it but before he could call the police he is also murdered. Once people got no one from the father they called the police, the police went to the house and walked in on one of the most grew sum heinous crimes scenes. There they found Josh, who openly admitted to these murders. He was tried as an adult and was given life in prison with no possibility of parole. This story will always stick in my mind, mostly because someone snapped over something so minuscule and innocent lives where token. This teaches a lesson of not only beware of the people I meet online but also you can never be too careful when it comes to trusting people around you and your family. Just to think someone so young can commit a crime so heinous. That’s terrifying. Many lesson can be learned from this and this
