Mike Dobrejcak, who married Mary the daughter of George kracha. Mike also worked in steel mills like George, the job wasn’t something that could help their families. Mike started working when he was twelve years old, and he came as an immigrant when he was fourteen
The book “Fahrenheit 451” was about this hero named Guy Montag who in this book is a fireman. In his world, where television and literature rules is on the edge of extinction, fireman start fires instead of putting them out and Guy Montag’s job is to destroy the books and the houses which they are hidden in. Montag goes through “hell” in this story but he meets a young neighbor, Clarisse, who introduces him to a past where people didn’t live in fear and where people see the world in books instead of the chatter on television.

As the members of this family become more generally acculturated and even Americanized, they come to resent the cruel treatment and the discrimination they suffer.

The story starts with Dana frightened of being transported again, which she did. After saving the boy, Rufus, from burning his house, she discovered that she has gone to the past, 1815, and that Rufus was her ancestor. Since it was the age where slavery was present, she escaped Rufus’ house in fear of being slaved to search for Alice, another one of her ancestor, hoping to get shelter. She found it at the time Alice’s family was raided by the whites, and Alice’s father was captured. She helped Alice’s family, but soon after she was discovered by a white man. Dana knocked him unconscious, then returned home. Afterwards, Kevin and her prepared Dana in an event where she get transported again.

The Burning Bed, was based on a true story about an abused battered wife. They lived in small town in Ingham County. Francine Hughes went on trial for the death of ex-husband Mikey Hughes. Francine, was a beautiful young woman, that met Mickey at a restaurant one night, that change her life forever. Mickey did not start off abusive he was loving, and fun at one point. Mickey was “wolf in sheep clothing”. He appeared to be gentle and kind, but was a monster.

Fire which is used as a symbol of chaos, destruction, and death can also lead to knowledge. Fire has 3 different meanings. Fire represents change which is shown through Montag’s symbolic change from using fire to burn knowledge into using fire to help him find knowledge; fire can represent knowledge as demonstrated through Faber, and fire can represent rebirth of knowledge as shown through the phoenix.
