The conflict between North Korea and America has been going on for many years now. They have a historical timeline of events between them. The article “An Incoherent Strategy on North Korea,” by The New York Times Editorial Board, explains America’s response to North Korea's actions. In “Is North Korea Preparing Its Missiles for Action? Weapons Moved Amid Threat To 'Reduce America Into A Sea Of Flames,'” Julia Glum discusses North Korea's actions and the reasons behind those actions. North Korea's threats can result in many lethal conflicts such as mass destruction, more feuds between countries, and even a nuclear war. North Korea's building up their military and showing off nuclear weapons, therefore imposing a threat towards America, can result in mass destruction. The editorial board stated that their most recent nuclear test was North Korea’s most powerful in 11 years (1). North Korea might be preparing for action by moving missiles. They have had extravagant parades and ceremonies to show off their military and weapons. According to Glum, they want to “reduce America into a sea of flames" (6). They also threaten America and call Trump names. Glum also states that they called Trump “an old psychopath” (6). Experts also believe it has up to 60 nuclear weapons.
