Nonverbal behaviors are the important component in the conversation. Even though our communication is based on words, but there are still a lot of thoughts and ideas that cannot be explained by words and need to be explained by using nonverbal behaviors. So, in conversation, both verbal and nonverbal behaviors are needed to complete the conversation. Yet, if just nonverbal behaviors are used in the conversation, what is going to happen? Could we still understand the conversation if just nonverbal behaviors are used? In this paper, nonverbal behavior was analyzed through the short movie, Inseparable. The first guy who dresses in a black suit, black pants, and glasses and with very clean looking, his appearance can tell that he may be an officer. Moreover, he wears a ring on a ring finger so this may tell us that he got married. Another guy with the big green jacket, jeans and with quite dirty looking because of his beard, this appearance tells that this guy may be unemployed and may not be that good. By looking at these physical appearances, it can be told that the first guy is more attractive because of his clean and good-looking. According to what Remland (2009) said in the textbook relating Halo effect, “tendency to judge good-looking people more positively than those who are less attractive”(p. 111), this film proves that this effect is true because the characteristic of the good-looking man is better than less attractive one. It explains in the beginning that something bad may happen to the man since his face seems worried when he leaves home and after that before he goes to see the doctor, he looks tense and he frowns. Moreover, the scene when he cries after he got the paper shows that something bad happened. When the twins meet up in the café, one man looks at the paper of another one, this can mean as approaching the conversation, want to know that what that paper is about. In the scene that they hug each other, one of them leaves and another one looks like he wants to cry and then he looks at the ground for a while and put on the glasses and looks at the way that another man just left. These facial expressions and eye contact represent the sadness and the beginning of something new, the way a man look at the ground can be interpreted that he is thinking about something and when he faces up and looks straight, this can be interpreted that he is ready to do something. At the last scene when the wife comes out from the house and looks at a man, first she looks glad both facial expression and eye contact and then she looks so surprised and she sits down, this can be interpreted that she knows that something is not normal, she may know that he is not her husband. This facial expression and eye contact are working with a gesture when she sits down, so it shows quite certain that she is really
