Their life has changed completely. The person I call a hero is my dad. He goes out of his way to give me everything I need to survive. I call my father a hero because he accepts me for who I am and accepts the changes that I have met through my teen years when no one else would. When times are tough, he finds a way to avoid the negatives and always thinks positive.
“Broadness of his back” shows his father is a strong and powerful man. All those merits of his father give reason that his father is a respectable man. In the essay, similar descriptions used to describe his father like “dark shadow moving against the white background,” “dark face hidden beneath a knit cap,” and “his giant steps.” Donalson emphasizes his father is a big and powerful man. His endurance and responsibility to his family really please the author. His father never did anything special besides “piling the Christmas gifts” and “covering the car insurance” to his son but he can still manage to endear himself to his family.
He went hunting every year with him. It did not matter what the weather was like or what other plans he made he always made time to spend with his family. It was a big shock to my dad because he never expected his dad to die that early in life. At least he lived a great life and I know that he went to heaven my dad said. In ending, my dad grew up on a farm in Pillager, Minnesota.
It is my hope that my son, when I am gone, will remember me not from the battle field but in the home repeating with him our simple daily prayer, 'Our Father who art in Heaven.' (Douglas Macarthur) Even though the main father and son relationship in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons does not display the “perfect” relationship they still hold respect and love for one another, they are each other’s security. In this play the author displays a society in which the characters are selfish, and seem to care only about themselves and the things that may benefit them. The men in this play go through great lengths to get everything they want, even if their actions may bring harm to others. Mr. Joe Keller seems to be an exception in this play; He will go through a lot of trouble to benefit others, especially his family.
Proceeding on I questioned my father about tragic events in his life, up until this point i thought i knew everything about my father but i was wrong. He revealed about his big brothers death which i didn 't even know existed ,for all I knew my father had to sisters and one younger brother. Getting curious I polity ask? He looks up and replys he was a great son, brother sum it all up a human. In my eyes he was perfect, considering our dad was always busy, he was the one who showed me a lot life right from wrong, respect and how tot live integrity.
Atticus personally stands up for Mr. Robinson even with the threat to his own safety. He continues to be neighborly to Mrs. Dubose and her garden, as well as others who he comes in contact with. Atticus is not only a lawyer but he is a single father of two young children. With the help of Calpurnia they raise Jem and scout with a deep-rooted sense of honesty. Gem recalls not ever being hit by his father and the fact that Jem never wants to put his father in that position tells the audience a great deal regarding the father-son dynamic that they share.
“Sky’s the limit” he always says. This is by far my Uncle Richie’s favorite sayings and motto’s. My uncle is a very determined man, with many goals and aspirations. He is the type of guy that will do whatever is necessary to provide for his family and friends (a rare find these days). The job type never mattered to him if he had to shovel for days on end, he would.
John Proctor is portrait in “The Crucible” as a man of word, a man who is at most times honest. Throughout his whole life, Proctor took care of maintaining his name and his wife’s name clean. It is said in the book how Proctor took care of farming and had a really special caring for his wife. Even though it is arguable and true that he was not faithful at all times to Elizabeth it is insane to say he did not care for her. As an example, when she was condemned he did what was possible in order to save her life.
Encompassing the authoritative parenting style, I have always known my father to encourage success but welcome failure. That is, so long as an honest effort was made. Personally, I credit his parenting style in part due to his military background. Or maybe it was due in part of the lack of a father-figure in his childhood. Whatever the reasoning, I am proud and grateful for having him in my life not only as a father, bu... ... middle of paper ... ... was the first time I had tasted real defeat, or any defeat for that matter.
Gregor was the one who had a job and supported his family and he did it with a great sense of pride. Because he wanted to give his family the best life he could, he hired a cook and a servant and he was hoping to send his sister, Grete, to the conservatorium to further enhance what he believed to be musical talents. He sacrificed his social life for his work; never making friends or going out at night. His only hobby was worrying, sitting alone in his room. In all of the five years he had worked, he had never once been absent.
