Michael Jordan was a Professional American Basketball Player, Olympic Athlete, Businessman, and Actor. He was considered as the greatest Basketball Player of all time for his great talent on moving the ball across the court, shooting, his 15 feet dunks, and his great handles. People gave him nicknames such as Mike, Air Jordan, His Airness, Money, Black Cat, the G.O.A.T, and Superman. With 5 MVP awards and 3 All-Star Game MVPs, he became the NBA’s most decorated player. Now that he is retired, he now owns a motor sport company called Michael Jordan Motorsports[MJM]. Those are some of his great accomplishments.

Michael Jeffrey Jordan was born on February 17, 1963, in Brooklyn, New York. As a young boy he developed an very competitive edge in his late elementary school years. When he was 12, he and a friend went to the beach and they went swimming. His friend drowned 2 hours later due to a shark attack. Since the he does not go in the ocean water and has to have somebody stand outside of the shower when he bathes. He has a very severe fear of water that most people would call Water Phobia. Before he enrolled to the University, he went to a basketball training camp where he then met coach Dean Smith. Dean Smith had Michael play for the college’s junior team, Chapel hill Tar-Heels. When the college’s league started, Jordan became a huge part of the team. The team won the NCAA Championships in 1982. Jordan scored the final basket needed to defeat Georgetown University. He was singled out as the NCAA College Player of the year in 1983. He was signed to the Chicago Bulls as the 3rd pick in the 1st round of the 1983 NBA
