Harry Potter is a story about an orphan child going to a school for wizards. The main characters in the story are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and Draco Malthoy. The story is aimed at children or young people. At the start of the sequence the lights go out. This creates am evil atmosphere and indicates that something is going wrong. The sound of the train stopping suddenly alerts the audience that something is going to happen. There is also a tense or creepy atmosphere created by the slow music. Different shot types are also used to make the audience’s feelings change. The long shot shows the train stranded in the middle of nowhere. This lonely and dark atmosphere shows the audience that the people on the train can’t be helped. The zoom in on the train gives the view a dementor would have, flying towards it. The bad weather and darkness also creates am evil and depressing atmosphere.
