Lupus Disease
Connective Tissues are tissues that connect, supports, and separates tissue organs. This tissue is known to be a tissue that has many diseases. Lupus disease being one of the many.
Lupus is a chronic disease that damages any part of the body. For example: skin, joints, and organs, are all problem areas for this disease. The cause of Lupus is unknown and could be very difficult to diagnose. It may take years to officially diagnose a patient of having the Lupus disease. Doctors examine your blood, skin, and kidneys to finalize the diagnosis. Symptoms last up to six weeks or longer.[1] These symptoms being pain or swelling in the the joints, fever, hair loss, feeling tired, redness in the face, etc. Lesser symptoms would be things such as dizziness, confusion, and seizures. Lupus is treated by a doctor's prescription, and a list of doctors who specialize in things such as kidney disease, blood disease, skin disease, etc. The greatest hit of this disease is to your immune system. The immune system helps defend the body from germs and viruses. Obviously if your immune system fails on you, you won't see another healthy day. This disease eats at your tissues which gives the body the lack of tissues needed to survive accordingly. …show more content…

This body system focuses on giving the body ability to use their muscular and skeletal systems accordingly. Inflammation of the muscles cause Lupus patients to become weak which affects their daily lives. This also creates Lupus Arthritis. This is when stiffness or swelling is occurring in the joints. Then finally, Lupus affects the musculoskeletal body system with Avascular Necrosis of the Bone. This focuses more on the skeletal region of the body system. This part of the disease reduces blood flow and increases pressure in the bones. There are no medical cures to this condition but surgery is an option to reduce pain.
