The person with big dreams is more powerful with all of the facts.” In the story, 90 miles to Havana the theme in this story is to never give up because in the story the characters never give up after leaving there Cuba their home they don’t give up and they go with the flow. After they leave Cuba they go camping Kendall and meet a lot of new people and learn the bad people in the camp and do a lot of bad pranks to the camp’s bad people. When he does all of this with his new friends and they get in a lot of trouble and Caballo always get in pranks and that is when Caballo would punish them big time. In pages 168 - 184 After a couple of weeks /months at camp Kendall Julian and Angelita are planning to go to Miami and go to tomás then go back to Havana and get their parents that are how Julian never gives up.
