It is obvious the marriage between Lady Macbeth and Macbeth is an abusive one. Lady Macbeth is ambitious character that belittles Macbeth when he goes against her plans. When Macbeth informed Lady Macbeth of the witches and their prophecy she asked the evil spirits to make Macbeth ashamed of everything that prevents him from becoming evil enough to be King. However, Macbeth wondered how he would become king and if it would be rightly given to him or if he would have to take it by force. This shows how the hunger for power is more dominant in Lady Macbeth than in Macbeth. I believe that the Macbeth was brainwashed by the witches, and then forced by his wife Lady Macbeth to commit these murders, and he can not be held accountable for his weakness.

Lady Macbeth says, “The raven himself is hoarse/ That croaks the fatal entrance of Duncan/Under my battlements. Come, you spirits/ That tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here, / And fill me from the crown

She is the backbone for all the betrayal , values power over human life, and she is not very supportive of her husband when everything is all said and done.
