Instead of sitting the rest of his life and being depressed about all of the negative things in his life, Kane Brown took all of those negative things and wrote songs about them. For example in his song “Learning” Brown talks about how even though he was abused, and he watched most of his friends become terrible people, or die, he was “learning how to let it go” as he stated in the song. The film allows viewers to not only grasp a better understanding of this movement but allows us to understand why this movement appealed to Swedish journalists. As a young girl she grew up in the church where she felt like it was a sign from God that she should be singing. Freud believes that religion is an illusion, an attempt to gain control over the external world. In his eyes saying that anything is a sign from God depends on how you vision life. There were times in her life where she would produce more music just to get thru the thing that she would be going through. She would use her music as a defense mechanism to get away from all of the abuse, problems with her marriage, neglect, and drugs. My first song I´ve chosen is Sean McGee, song titled My Story. Mainly the song is about him facing different struggles, obstacles, and all the horrible things and situations he´s been in throughout his life. I can connect to this song and the lyrics for many reasons. One of his lines were ¨Do you know how it feels to be left out in the rain¨? And I have faced times like this when I feel like no one is there or have my back, and in the line he´s trying express how it feels to have nobody and be all alone. Also throughout this song he expresses how everyday you wake up your face with something rather it's just a minor issue or something that will greatly impact your life.

Tupac Amaru Shakur was an African-American rapper, poet, and record producer during the 1990’s. In his adolescent years, he attended the Baltimore School for the Arts where he took acting and dance classes, like ballet. He was taught radical politics by his mother, which helped him develop ideas about topics he would later use in his many works. At an early age, Tupac had seen the injustices of the real world. His mother was a former Black Panther activist who turned to substance abuse during Tupac’s childhood. Aside from that, he and his mother also moved many times while they lived together in New York City. Singer’s thesis is that the intelligence, capabilities, or profitable values of animals does not make them lesser deserving of rights. This is rooted in the idea of suffering being the baseline instead of intelligence. Every animal can suffer, just as a human can, but a rock cannot. His abortion analogy shows that there may be specific considerations of rights more pertinent to one individual over another, but each is an equal to the other. At first I just thought it was a song, but when I found out this song was based on an actually event, it just made it even more impacting. The lyrics of the song, like the ones mentioned, made me realize that life of person could easily be taken away just for being at the wrong place, at the wrong time. It also shed light on the opposite side of the barrel. It displays the deep remorse the killer felt because he killed that innocent kid, which it drove him to suicide.
