Located in Southern Europe, the Italian Republic is one of the most crowded places in Europe. With a population at a little over 60 million, Italy offers a wide of food, culture, and rich history for its citizens and visitors to enjoy. With Rome as Italy's capital, the city is over 3,000 years old and is one of the country's most influential parts of Italy today. the country is the owner of some of the most amazing attractions such as the Trevi fountain, and the Sistine chapel. Since the earliest times, Italy has been influenced by cultural, political aspects from all over the world.
Italy has a parliamentary government based on a proportional voting system. The parliament is bicameral, the two houses, the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic share the same powers. The Prime Minister, is Italy's head of government. The Prime Minister and the cabinet are appointed by the President of the Republic, and they must pass a vote of confidence in Parliament to become in office.
In Italy, there is a multi-party system. This means that it is unlikely for any one party to gain a majority in the Italian parliament and so coalitions between several parties must be formed. From the end of World War II until the 1990s, Italy had a multiparty system with two dominant parties, the Christian Democratic Party and the Italian Communist Party and a number of small yet influential parties.
All citizens 18 years and older may vote. The turnout for elections in Italy is high, often reaching well over 80 % for parliamentary elections.

The thought of spending most of your upright life practicing for a chance to show the world in just a few minutes or seconds that you are the best this planet has to offer is amazing. This is an overwhelming thought to have running through your head.
Without a doubt Italy has definitely managed to impact the world. Weather it is through trading with other countries or even being in agreement with them. Italy has worked hard to get where it is today. The progress that Italy has mad Politically, Socially and Economically has been astounding and deserves to be recognized by all regimes across the globe. Because Italy pushes for world peace and a healthier global market and strong ties with other countries makes other countries realize that Italy may one day become a major super power in our world.
