Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum : Chez Tortoni In the Isabella Gardner museum they were saying that people stole a lot of famous arts.The museum is offering 10 million reward for information that leads to finding the stolen works.The garner theft of 1990 remains unsolved the museum and FBI are still looking for more information that can helped them return the art works. That all of the 13 artworks are in good condition and can still be hang up and they will also get a reward too. Chez Tortoni is a painting by a French artist Edouard Manet he painted this painting in 1878. They pushed the buzzer saying they were responding to a disturbance and requested to be let in.the guard let them in. and the guys in the front desk were handcuffed and tied up in the basement.The museum had motion detectors so the thieves movements were recorded.The best known works of art were taken from the Dutch room. They took the painting of chez Tortoni from the short gallery which is on the same floor as the dutch room. They took like 20 minutes to decide which one they wanted to take and when they left the people walked in and they saw that that only the frames were their but the chez tortoni frame was on the director's chair in the supervisors office and not on the floor like the others. People who knew isabella's vision were offended by the theft it not because how much the stolen art was worth but because what the bad people did was rude.they moved the ancient lndmark isabella had setand that dishonored her desire to give her community an all who came to visit something lasting and beautiful. And this case is still open today and like i said in the beginning they are giving a reward just to know more information on the artworks and where they can be and if they can get them
