Is it all about fate or actions. In William Shakespeare’ playwright, Macbeth, the fate of being king was the start to blame for Macbeth’s action to kill King Duncan. Later proves that it was all Macbeth's’ actions. Especially when he decide to murder King Duncan, kill Banquo and his son, and the eliminate Lady Macduff and her son. Its all about one’s actions, and how far one would go to get what they want.
Macbeth give in to believe his fate was to be King of Cawdor told by the three witches. Later finding out that Malcolm is heir to thane of Cawdor. Macbeth's ambitious to become king, Macbeth agrees to Lady Macbeth’s plan to kill Duncan. Macbeth had some doubts to kill Duncan. But quoted by Macbeth, “And take the present horror from the time,/ Which now suits with it. Whiles I threat, he lives./ Words to the heat of deeds too cold breath gives(Shakespeare 2.1).” Meaning Macbeth had decide to kill Duncan. This was not because Macbeth’s fate is to be king. But killing Duncan willing with his own actions, not by fate, in order to be thane of Cawdor.

After told that his enemy, Macduff, had fled to England, he says, “Time, thou anticipat’st my dread exploits./ The flighty purpose never is o’ertook/ Unless the deed go with it. From this moment/ The very firstlings of my heart shall be/ The firstlings of my hand. And even now,/ To crown my thoughts with acts, be it thought and done(Shakespeare 4.1).” It seems Macbeth is frustrated in his hesitationnto kill Macduff.
