The Iron Fist is the fourth installment of the Netflix Original, Marvel Cinematic Universe. Iron Fist is the last installment before a crossover mini series between Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and the latest one, Iron Fist which will lead up to a long planned miniseries The Defenders featuring all of New York's crime fighting superheroes. Danny Rand the main protagonist returns to New York City after fifteen years of his family being presumed dead in a plane crash over the Himalayan mountains and is seeking to regain control of his father's company, Rand Enterprises. Danny became the lone survivor of the plane crash and was rescued by a group of warrior monks who trained him to become a powerful martial artist and he rose up through the ranks being gifted a special power. He was taught at the monastery that their purpose was to destroy a great evil called “The Hand” and that only someone gifted with the power of the Iron Fist, such as Danny could do so. Danny simply seemed idiotic and ditzy making mistakes that would leave the viewer dumbfounded or screaming at the television. In the first few minutes of the show it's evident as the way he nonchalantly strolls through the front doors asking for his company back “totally unaware of the true impact his resurrection would cause” (Fowler). Apart from acting completely oblivious he was emotionally unstable, battling if he should or shouldn't kill. Personally i'm sick of the “superheroes don't kill” trope and was wanting him to go all out to kill of the hand members.
