This is what I plan to research and write about my topic. The topic of the research that I am writing about is anxiety and how the mental illness is a monster. I am going to start off by talking about characteristics of a monster and the feeling I have when I think of it and then bring it to mental illness and how it is a monster for many people. Like for example, I think a monster looks big, has claws, or a weapon, and looks terrifying. The feeling I get from a monster is a lot of fear, hopelessness, and the constant worry of the monster coming and that is the same feeling I get from my anxiety. The constant worry if anxiety hits and when it does I have a lot of fear, hopelessness, and regret. I struggle with anxiety and I consider it a type of monster. Some symptoms of an anxiety attack are chest pain, sweat, and feeling of death. There are many more symptoms, but these are some common ones. I will also talk about what you think about when anxiety is taking over you. Then explain why and how anxiety like other mental illness is really serious, how anxiety affects you, your life, the people around you, and how serious it could be. People might say anxiety is not something serious, it is not something to worry about, or it is not a big deal. Hopefully, after they hear what I have to say they will understand how serious it could it and is, and understand how much of a big deal it is. I would not need a lot of research because I can talk on based on my first hand experience of it and also on what my friends have told me about what they have gone through. I will research a little so can understand all parts of it and have a deeper understanding. I feel like I need to do a little bit of research because I need to know what researchers and doctors say about it. Also, I would have to know other people’s feelings that have anxiety and all the symptoms and effects because I have not experienced all of
