Malala Yousafzai is a very brave women. She was even more brave when the Taliban was ordered to kill her. Malala wouldn’t give up her cause. She was strong. Malala wrote the book I Am Malala. Malala fights for women's education. Malala was born in Mingora, Pakistan on July 12, 1997. Malala won the Nobel peace Prize at age 17 which is the youngest person to ever win it. Malala was the oldest daughter of her family. She had two brothers one was 6 years younger and the other was 11 years younger than her. She attended Khushal school, which was originally founded by her father. Malala was born and lived in Mingora Pakistan until 2012. Malala faced many difficulties throughout her life. She has had enough to difficulties to last a lifetime.

She was born in a place where girls are hidden away and boys are celebrated, but she wanted to change all that. She did not morally agree with her government’s treatment of women, so she fought for her beliefs. Malala grew up in a rural village in Pakistan and was forced to follow customs she did not believe in. Swat Valley changed to a strictly ruled village with discrimination towards women. I am Malala For the past month I have been reading the book I Am Malala, by Malala Yousafzai. It starts off with, meeting the girl who is just like any other girl. Malala is from Mingora, Pakistan the largest city in the valley.
Since she was 11 years old, Malala has been writing a blog on the Urdu BBC website to show her hope and determination to become a doctor in spite of her fear against the Taliban. Her story of courageous actions created a big sensation in the public(weird grammar). From then on, she is referred to as a symbol of courage and inspiration for all young women, who want to relish the chance to go to school.
Malala Yousafzai was born in Mingora, a town in the Swat District of north-west Pakistan. As Malala grew up her mind was set on education. Her father was a teacher and thought Malala how to love education even though women at the time where Malala lived weren’t allowed to go to school. Malala thought that this was not right she wanted the girls have an education. She decided to fight and created her own school for girls. One day after school a Taliban gun shooter barged into the bus that Malala was taking back home and shot her in the head, two of her other friends were injured when they shot her. Malala survived the bullet but had to have a five hour surgery. Even though she had to go through all of these hard things she never gave up. She gave speeches, kept fighting for women's rights and wrote a book named I am Malala. Malala always said: “One child, one teacher, one book, one pen can change the world.” ,“Education is education. One challenge Malala faces is that a student named Malka-e-Noor competes with her to see who does better in class. Malala sometimes falls behind Malka however she is determined and at the end she does better than her. Malala’s challenge was that during school one day a new girl had come to school. Her name was Malka-e-Noor. Malala did not think she could be as bright as her but however she was wrong. During the last day of school the teacher was passing out awards. When this happened Malala became stunned because “She had gotten first place and I had gotten second...I burst into tears.” (Yousafzai 35).
