Photoshop Photoshopping has become a very serious matter and is having a great effect on our society! I know you’re thinking how could editing someone's visual appearance effect our every day life? But in a world where social media is flooded everywhere and almost completely rules the world. It’s hard not see and admire the beauty of models, actresses, famous men or women etc. Statistics show the incidence of eating disorders among adolescent girls has increased over the last 50 years among girls between the ages of 15 to 19 years old which seem to be the most effected. The more photoshopping is allowed to be broadcasted, the more the numbers of health issues will rise up, along with a lower development of adolescent’s self-perception, weight and body image concerns, and weight control practice. Teens are not the only ones effected by the powers of photoshopping it also effects businesses. The life of a teen is mainly based off of self-perception which is the reason the ages that are most effected happen to be between 15 to 19 years of age. Why is that you many wonder? More and more people are choosing to have body modifications done. It is what rules todays’ society. It informs us about what is happening around the world in a matter of seconds.
