One of many Famous poems from William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet is a poem filled with distance between two families and two helpless teenagers named Romeo and Juliet. These two teenagers fall in love, but Juliet’s Family are Capulet’s and Romeo’s Family are Montague. There love is nearly impossible for them. Unless someone helps her, The Nurse, the woman who raised Juliet since birth lets her get away with marrying the enemy. Maybe she is the one to blame for all the deaths that happened by letting two teenagers fall in love.
The Nurse was like a Mother to Juliet. As Juliet started growing up the Nurse and her Family tried to Persuaded her to marry for her kingdom. The Nurse returns and tells Juliet the young man’s name is Romeo, the only son of her worst enemy, The Montague. Juliet in despair calls to Romeo and telling him to change his name and she will send someone to find him tomorrow. Juliet send the Nurse to fetch him for her, the Nurse does so. The Nurse speaks to him warning him “ If you lead her into a fool’s Paradise… It would be an outrage crime” meaning bad things would come his way. She lets him be with Juliet while she watches to see when Lady Capulet would come to see Juliet. The Nurse disobeys the lady’s rules and lets Juliet be with the son of the enemy. She clearly doesn’t know whom to listen to, but she does listen to Juliet’s commands to help her fall in love with Romeo. The Nurse knows that Romeo had killed Juliet’s cousin and so did Juliet. But through both there blindness they could not see he was a murderer. Still the Nurse did not do anything to stop Romeo from making Juliet fall in love with her.
