He is located at number four Privet Drive. He is about to take on another amazing year at his school, Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. He can't help but that who he is affects the relationship with his legal guardians who are Muggles (nothing to do with magic at all). For the first eleven years of his life Harry didn't even know that magic existed or even that he was extremely famous in a whole nother world. Harry when he turned eleven found out that he was magical went to school and has been on vacations. For his second year at school harry got into arguments with his school enemy Draco Malfoy. Harry has two best friends who will stick with him through just about anything and they are Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Harry when he goes into the chamber of secrets has to face the man that gave the scar on his head years ago to a charm and that Voldemort. Yet another time harry defeats voldemort without any harm done to him and saves his future wife you might say Ginny Weasley, Ron’s sister. But all of a sudden it gets changed to a very aggressive and Uncle Vernon yells across the table “THAT'S THE THIRD TIME THIS WEEK, IF YOU DON'T SHUT YOUR STUPID OWL UP!!!”. Things calmed down after that until harry responds back with a statement and his uncle gets offensive again. Things are very calm again after he gets to school with very little docile attitude. Malfoy harry’s rival is still very sulking throughout the story. Things got pretty tragic when writing started appearing on the walls and people were getting part petrified. When Harry got in the chamber and had to fight Voldemort again he defeated him but ended up in a very critical condition, if it wasn't for Fawkes dumbledore's bird harry probably wouldn't have made it saving genny or even himself. He then sees his cousin, who he lives with and hates. They then get in a fight and Harry pulls out his wand and at that exact moment two dementors attack them. Dudley thinks Harry is attacking him, so he punches Harry. Harry then heroically saves them both by producing a patronus and driving away the dementors. They get back home and Harry gets a letter from the Ministry of Magic that says because he used magic he is expelled (Harry is underage and underage wizards aren't supposed to use magic).
Harry’s frequently experienced injustice is witnessed since the very beginning of the novel. His alienation from both the wizarding world and muggle (non magical) world cause Harry to long for the acceptance of his truthful story. Since Voldemort’s return occurred at the end of Harry’s fourth year at Hogwarts, his summer at Number 4 Privet Drive has been far from enjoyable (Chappell). If anything, it caused Harry anxiety, frustration, and anticipation of the horrible events to come (Chappell). Harry’s alienation first stems from the Ministry of Magic. When two dementors (magical hooded figures who guard the wizard prison, Azkaban) wandered into Harry’s neighborhood, he used magic to defend himself and his cousin, Dudley (Rowling 17). Because of this, the Ministry of Magic accused Harry of breaking the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery (Rowling 27). They made sure to enforce the “illegality” of Harry’s actions when they threatened to confiscate and destroy his wand (Rowling 62, 27). Over the course of this summer I read four books. The books I read were Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J K Rowling, The Giver by Lois Lowry, Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix, and Number the Stars by Lois Lowry again. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J K Rowling was the first book I read this summer and I really liked it. I decided to read the 5th Harry Potter book because I had it and I never really got a chance to read it. The book begins were it had left you of in the 4th book when Harry is just about to enter his 5th year at Hogwarts. He still lives with his aunt and uncle whom he hates because they are mean and evil to him. The letters from his friends are very dull and they have nothing to say, which confuses him and makes him furious. He is also mad because he’s still stuck with the Dursleys all summer long. The story goes with his adventures and challenges throughout his 5th year. The genre is fantasy complete with magic. I would recommend this book to anybody who likes the Harry Potter books. I would also recommend that if you have never read any of the previous books you start from the beginning. I can’t wait ‘till the next book comes out!
Many have come to know and love the stories of Harry Potter, the boy who lived, but what most may not realize is that Harry Potter can have a bad influence on young children and adults. Though the Harry Potter series is a children’s book that is meant to enlighten the imagination of young viewers, it can be misguiding to those cannot comprehend the difference between imagination and real life. The beloved story of Harry Potter can have a negative influence on young children and adults for a variety of reasons.
Just to quickly run through the two previous books; Harry Potter is a wizard, who’s parents were killed by the worst dark wizard ever known. The reason why Harry Potter is still around, is because Lord Voldemort failed to kill Harry. His spell hit Harry, but then backfired on Voldemort taking all of his powers with him. Harry is so famous for two things. Withstanding the powers of Lord Voldemort, and, taking him back in to the underworld in hiding. In the first book, Harry receives a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He’s eventually allowed to go, and spends the next six months there learning magic, getting into trouble, and trying to solve mysteries of his past, and the school. In the second book, Harry goes back to his second year at Hogwarts, and gets into more trouble, figures out many astonishing mysteries and learns loads more magic. His best friends in the two books consist of Ron and Hermione (two of his fellow wizard students) and Hagrid the gamekeeper who was expelled from Hogwarts but allowed a job as the gamekeeper.

At the start of the book, Harry was forty-seven and was upset over the belief that he had two separate being that made up his soul, a wolf, and a man, that he decides to kill himself at the age of fifty. After being given a book that spoke about the Steppenwolf, and explained that people are not singular or even two being, they are much more than that. Harry refused the idea and claims that the book did not know him. After being rude to a professor's wife, he believed his wolf side has beaten what was left of his humanity and planned to kill himself early. He stopped at a bar and met a woman named Hermine, who made it her duty to open him up to life. With her help Harry learned to stop analyzing everything and to love life and what it has to offer. Towards the end of the book, at Fancy Dress Ball Harry allowed himself to be immersed in the dancers and eventually was led from their to the school of laughter, where he learns that laughter is the most important thing to help people get through life (Hesse, Steppenwolf). Throughout the plot, Sartre’s belief that people need to take responsibility for their own lives is shown, as Harry’s failure of it almost leads to his suicide, yet his acceptance of it saves him (Baker, “Existentialist of Note”). Two of the best things in the world, “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” and “Harry Potter,” have a good deal in common. Other than the vast amount of space reserved in my brain for storing quotes and random facts from these two stories, both tales share many similar objects, plot devices, character attributes, and themes. Even though Python's “Holy Grail” is an exact historical representation of the Arthurian Grail legend, some might argue that the “Harry Potter” story is more reflective of the actual ancient texts than the 1974 film.
Harry Potter starts off slow, but gets very interesting near the end. In the beginning, you meet the Dursleys, Harry’s aunt, uncle, and their son Dudley. Then you learn that Harry’s parents were witches, and that they were destroyed by a evil wizard. A good witch, Albus Dumbeldoor, sends Harry to the Dursleys, because they’re his only remaining family. The Dursleys however, hated Harry and his family, so Harry was mistreated for years. He was forced to live in a cuborrod under the stairs. He had to watch as the fat, stuck up Dudley got whatever he wanted, and then usually broke whatever it was he got. Then one day Harry got a letter.
‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’, written by J.K. Rowling, is an excellent example of a modern novel that uses medieval influences extensively. Many of the novel’s characters are based on medieval ideas and superstitions. The settings in the book resemble old medieval towns as well as castles. The book is also full of medieval imagery such as knights in armour, carriages etc. Whilst there is no time travel involved in the novel, the medieval period is used to such an effect that the reader is encouraged to ignore the fact that the book is set in the present.
Harry James Potter is the main character. He was born to James and Lilly Potter a half-blood family. Half-bloods are families that have both wizard and muggle family members. When Harry was only a baby his parents died leaving him to live with his muggle Aunt's family the Dursley's. The lessons that children are taught from films are most often sugarcoated versions of life lessons that adults gather. Children’s films are about what adults want their children to see, not about what their children actually learn. In Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Harry leaves his aunt and uncle, Petunia and Vernon Dursley, to study magic at the Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. Soon after leaving he discovers that his parents were murdered by the most powerful dark lord, Voldemort, and he was the "boy who lived." Along the way to Hogwarts, Harry meets Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. The three soon become best friends and plot to save Hogwarts from Voldemort's wrath.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was written by J. K. Rowling and is the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series. The book is about a seventeen-year-old wizard, named Harry Potter, who has to travel all over England to find things that will help him defeat the evil wizard, Lord Voldomort. The main theme/moral of the entire series is good will always triumphs over evil. In every book, even when it looks like evil is going to win, good always triumphs in the end.
