Hello. My name is Samantha and I am married to Kevin. We have been married for two years. We have currently decided that we want to start a family. After going to the doctor several times, we fear we may have fertility problems. Before going through with the process of fertility treatments, we would like to know more about it such as the success rates and cost. Questions we also have to ask ourselves are how much are we willing to spend on fertility treatments? Are we truly willing to give up some of our retirement fund? Should we ask family for help? Then what can happen is many couples feel the other partner is at fault, but actually it is best for couples to unite together during such a hard time. It is best to note that some causes of infertility, such as heavy alcohol and drug usages, age, medicines, excess weight, environmental toxins, and diseases can cause this in men and women. (Infertility Fact Sheet. 3-4.) it is best for couples to think about these things early in their lives together, if some of the previous things mentioned are taking place in one another lives. However, sometimes nature just decides that some men and some women are not going to have children and that is perfectly alright. Furthermore, the trick to infertility is knowing that it can happen to anyone and realizing the steps that need to take place if it is happening to a couple. I make about $17,680 a year. My husband makes about $216,577 a year. (Healthcare Salaries) We have been looking into buying a new house in order to have room for our family. In order to be able to pay for the treatments and medication, we are going to have to give a few things up. We think the best thing to do in order to make this happen for us is to give up our dreams of buying a new home and move in with one of our parents. If we do that, it will take away paying rent, electricity, and other bills. My husband’s parents are willing to let us live with them that way we can possibly have our dream of having a family. This may not be an easy road, but it’s worth a shot. Also we are giving up or cruise this year. That saved us two thousand dollars that will go to the medication or
