She has always been abusive. She's been abusive to me, my family, but mostly shes abusive to my brother, Zak. She's told us things that she knew would emotionally crush us. She thinks that life is just a game of cat and mouse, and shes the cat. We were forced to treat her like family although she was not wanted by most of us. Her name is Cassidy. Cassidy had been dating my brother for almost a year when she got pregnant with my nephew. Shortly after she had gotten pregnant she had broken up with my brother. As he grew up we faced uncalled for problems with Cassidy. When Wyatt was two years old, she was teaching him to swear in attempted to anger my mother, but we taught him that those words are used to hurt people and we don't want to hurt people. Despite all the mental poison that Cassidy had burned into his memory, we still loved him, and we made sure Wyatt knew it. By the time Wyatt was three he began to yell like his mother did, with anger and in spite of other people's feelings. Wyatt and I could hear Cassidy‘s voice coming from downstairs. She was screaming at my parents telling them to give her Wyatt.“Auntie Ali mamas here!” Wyatt says with an excited voice, like any three year old is when they see their mother, not knowing the conflict that was happening downstairs. My father said with stern and intimidating voice, “if you don’t get off our property in 10 seconds I will be calling the cops and have you arrested for trespassing.” Cassidy screams “Fine!” And storms out the door.
