Do you think that pitbull should be pet or should they be banned. A Lot of people think that pitbull should be banned and should not be pets but why? Why do people think pitbulls should be banned if another dog can do anything a pitbull can do so if they banned pitbulls why don't they banned all dogs. There are many reasons why I think that pitbulls should not be banned. One of the reasons I think that pitbull should not be banned is because they can keep on helping people like the used to or like they do. Pitbulls help a lot of people for different types of reasons,and they were also pets. Something that I found in the text that supports what I wrote was, “Pitbull remained popular during the 1950s and 60s, respected companies used pitbulls as their mascots and in advertising.’’Even some well known people had pitbulls as pets such as “Theodore Roosevelt,Thomas Edison,and helen keller.” One more reason is,I think that pitbulls should not be banned is because they were well know as being a symbol of pride. “Pitbull were first brought to america by english and irish immigrants,they were a respected breed.” Pitbulls were also really helpful in the 1900s they were mostly helpful during wars.
