Immediately upon having the opportunity to go to whatever place I want to go out of the whole world I will choose Hawaii. In Hawaii, there are so many activities to enjoy while staying there and I desire to explore those options. By exploring all these options I will be going to all of the islands who create the whole place of Hawaii to not miss a single attraction or activity. Beginning with my arrival, I will settle for a hotel with a nice view of the ocean and sunset, for example, Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is an exceptional place. I will use this chance to go out and start my day in the sun. The first activity I will choose is to go on a tour with Dolphins. It would be exciting to be close to a mammal while doing what I love, swimming. It is a new experience to have when usually I wouldn’t swim with a creature back at home. Then when my time expires I’ll go to another tour in the Hawaii Volcano National Park where volcano, Kilauea, resides. I have never been up close to seeing a volcano in my perspective remarkably it will bring me to nature at its finest.

I am not too fond of heights, however in this vacation I will conquer my anxiety to continue my day of entertainment. I am only curious about how it feels to be near the sky and the views of the ocean it is getting while being at that great height. From all of the tours, I will finish my day in a water park in Kapolei on Oahu to go on the rides. What I love about waterparks is the thrilling excitement I get from the rides as it combines my passion for swimming and the rush of regular rides. When I stepped out of the hot, airless plane into the bright, dazzling sunlight beaming down across the burning concreate, I felt excited and nervous. Holding my beach bag in my hand and slipping my Ray Ban sunglasses on with my other, I flip-flopped down the airspace. Overhead I heard the screams of gulls and the chatter of the small fluffy birds. I suddenly realized I had arrived to Hawaii. This trip was such an unforgettable vacation for me because I got to witness the beauty of nature that Hawaii has to offer.
Ever human being has its own race, it is a categorization of human beings, for example, people are divided into black, white, Asian, Hispanic (Latino), and Hawaiian or others. These people share different cultures and languages, somehow these people immigrant into the same country and produce the next generation of “mix” cultures. As my family and I walked into the plane, we were excited. The plane ride to jamaica stopped in L.A. and, after that, it went to jamaica. When we arrived in Jamaica it was really hot, but it was wet. I immediately took off my sweater I was wearing on the plane. We took a bus to our hotel. Then we started swimming in the water park. Every night there was a show in the main stage. The next day we woke up early to go to chukka. It was awesome. We saw a great house, rode on horses, and did a challenge course. After we came back from Chukka, we went to the water park and swimming pool at the hotel. Then we ate at fresh, which we went most of the time. Before arriving in Hawaii, I thought I was coming to a tropical paradise, beautiful sunsets, nice trees, long walks on the beach, generally a place to have fun and relax. But Hawaii was nothing like what I had imagined.
That morning my mother had gone to talk to one of the hotel workers about activities to do while we were on vacation. I remember my mom coming back to the hotel room saying that the man at the front desk said we should see this sunset from the volcano. He said that everyone who did it thought it was beautiful and worth it, and we should do it. He also told my mom that we needed to pack warm clothes because it gets cold. We decided as a family that we should try it. My mom made us pack jeans and sweatshirts but my brother and I thought we wouldn't need them because growing up in Virginia, we thought we could handle it. I was a little nervous about the trip but excited at the same time to see this stunning sunset from so far up.
The first thing I did was decide to research Maui, Hawaii. I have heard many great things about Hawaii, and thought that this would make a great report. I gathered information online, comparing airline prices, hotel prices and also attractions in Maui. To gather even more information, I traveled to the travel agency in which I belong to, AAA’s where I received a lot of great catalogs on Maui. I did not know definitely where I was going with this project, but decided to research the information. I discovered that Hawaii was just a little bit out of a college student’s budget, even if saving for a year. So I thought I would compare and research the Bahamas, our other choice. I once again started online, researching much like I did with Hawaii. This time when I traveled to AAA’s, I talked to Sharon Biggs, a very helpful travel agent. She gave me brochures explaining about the two islands in the Bahamas. She told me that because I was under the age of 21, the better vacation choice was the Bahamas over Hawaii. When we travel on our vacation, my boyfriend will be over 21, but I will not. The age of 21 meaning, I could not drink, but he could. My final step was to call my aunt and uncle, who have traveled to the Bahamas, Mexico, Bermuda, and taken several cruises. I wanted to receive their insight on the location that I had chosen. They were very reliable in the sense that they travel often and I have not been to all the places that they have been to.

I close my eyes and see myself up before sunrise, sitting on a small carpet outside on the deck of my adorable yet peaceful villa rental. Transfixed by the sound of ocean waves breaking at the shore, legs crisscrossed, a cup of tea clutched between my hands barely gracing my lips, and tired eyes opened just enough to get a glimpse of the sun collide into the side one of the islands infamous Hindu temples. Taking in everything happening all at once and breathing in the lush island air with a hit of incense and sea salt.
