The United States’ government should begin to enforce more effective laws on illegal immigration; doing so will greatly benefit The United States of America economically and politically. Illegal immigration has been a highly debatable issue in America since the Mid-Nineteen Hundreds and will likely always be an issue. From overstaying on their temporary visa to hopping the border, illegal immigrants have found a way to enter The United States. Illegal immigration laws in America are not very strict allowing them to live here and have similar privileges to legal citizens. There seems to be more hope of laws being created to allow all illegal immigrants to be citizens then there is for stricter laws to be enforced upon them. With 80% of the Americans that had taken place in a survey being against deportation, if there was ever to be laws proposed and passed they would probably be for the illegal immigrants. If there was less political talk against illegal immigration in America, there would be a better chance at preventing many problems such as wars, falling into a greater amount of debt and a higher unemployment rate. America’s government and homeland security should work together to prevent anymore illegal immigration and to come up with more effective laws on it.
