I agree with Emerson's statement because those who are in the city are prone to more distractions than those in the country. Those who are in the city lose insight on who they are, what they are capable of, and what they can become. Throughout Nature, Emerson's famous statement of the transparent eye-ball plays a major role in the fact that man should view life in different perspectives in order to find their inner soul.
