Harper Lee comments on life in the novel To Kill A Mockingbird how life was. Blacks and whites was not equal, and blacks had less education than whites. Whites had schools and blacks had to get there education in churches. When white lawyers defend black people meanwhile they didn’t want to defend them. People was treated different. Whites was able to have schools and blacks could not. Blacks had less education than whites the reason for that was that the teachers would sometimes not be there. And they didn’t have schools.
