Theodor Seuss Geisel or as known as Dr.seuss is famous cartoonist , writer and author who was born 1904 in Springfield, Massachusetts. He is one of the most favorite children’s authors of the twentieth century. Although he is well known of children’s books like “The cat in the hat “and Green Eggs and Ham”. Theodor also has sold many copies of political cartoons, poems, and even film scripts not only in the united states but also worldwide. Poems, Political cartoons, and film scripts were some of his work as well. The power of writing he used brought joy and happiness to all people, especially kids. Seuss wrote stories and books to inspire kids and teach them the love of reading while in the same time entertain them. For example, one of his quotes he let you think about how do you want to shape your life and you have plenty of choices “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. After college, Seuss followed his passion and went to drawing cartoons for magazines and newspapers. As time progressed, his cartoons took on a political spin until he reached the point of a political cartoonist. After time went by, cartoons were no longer Seuss’s motivation. Some book companies asked him to write for them and use some new words. and in 1957, The Cat in the Hat was published. Dr.Seuss name linked to be a children’s book writer. In conclusion, Dr. Seuss is a great and unique person who used a special method to get to his point in a very creative way. The reason behind his successful selling is because he used fun rhyme scheme and symbolism.
