The Perfect Storm I’ve had occasion to talk with more than a few people, some Christians, some not, about my conclusions regarding Trump and the Antichrist. Even putting the biblical connection aside; Trump’s rise to power has been something that in and of itself is profoundly wonderful and marvelous to behold. I don’t mean good or lovely. What the world is witnessing is something, in and of itself, full of wonder; something that one marvels at. Mouths are left open in awe. How can this be happening? This was my mindset before I made the connection. “This ain’t right.”, I said to myself. I think subconsciously I knew early on who he was. I just couldn’t bring myself to admit it. Some things are just beyond belief. Life is now changing so quickly that reason cannot keep up with it anymore. We have now entered an age of wonder. He was the “man around town” in New York City in the 1980’s. He was always an attraction at star-studded events, schmoozing with everyone in his effervescent way. His marriages, affairs and divorces were favorite topics of tabloid trash. Extremely wealthy, his business adventures included professional football, wrestling, casinos and the Miss U.S.A. as well as the Miss Universe Pageant. Of course his main gig always has been real estate. His books, including “The Art of the Deal”, are well known. He put his name on anything and everything; clothing, wine, vodka, steaks; even a board game. The younger generation would not be left out either as his hit show, The Apprentice, lasted fourteen seasons. The man lived the quintessential American dream; a life of luxury, decadence, power, beautiful women, unimaginable wealth and fame.
