Every day there are teens out and doing things they would like to do. Not all teens are the same, there are many different types of teens that are on the streets day and night. Curfews do not keep all teens out of trouble, but they do help keep teens from getting in trouble. Teens don’t just get in trouble at night there are plenty of things for teens to do during the day that will get them into trouble. It is a teens responsibility to follow the rules, but not all teens are going to follow the rules they are suppose too. Parents establish curfews to meet a number of reasonable objectives. Age plays a big role in someone's curfew, for example someone with a ten year old son isn’t going to be out as late as their fifteen year old brother. The type of neighbourhood you live in should be taken into consideration, if your neighbourhood is not a very safe one you wouldn’t want you kids out too late because you don’t know what is going to happen later in the night around your home. Their teen may think they are just doing what they are doing to be mean, but they aren’t. Parents do the things they do because they want their child to be safe at all times. Teens don’t understand that their parents know what it’s like to be a teenager they were there one time, they know the different things that teens do now. Parents sometimes to get my strict once their teen starts driving, they get like that because they know how dangerous it can be out on the roads alone. Your parents do the things they do to keep their children safe not to be mean. Sometimes a teen will notice that their parents want them home earlier than normal on a weekend once they start driving. Parents get like that because they don’t want their teen out driving late and take the chances of them getting into an accident, or even take the chances of drunk drivers that don’t
