1.0 Introduction
Emerging technologies are things that is currently developing or will be developed after five or ten years. Emerging technology include a verity of technology such as information technology, nanotechnology, biotechnology, education technology, artificial intelligence and robotics. In my assignment I will talk about wearable technology definition, usage, history and their types.

2.0 wearable computing
Wearable computing, or wearable technology is something that you can wear such as a t-shirt, or an accessory like a smart watch as long computer is involved. Some serve an actual purpose others are just for fashion statement.
3.0 usage
Wearable technology usage can be categorized into 2 major categories:
1. business
Notify you if your calories are high or low. Same with the heartbeat, sleeping patterns and step taken
2. Useful for athletes and joggers to check if they reach their goals 1. Some fitness devices are extremely costly. It depends on the brand
2. Can be damaged if water is touched the device.
3. Fitness device are small so you can’t read easily.

5.2 smart watches
Smart watch isn’t that popular. This is mainly due the price, but in my opinion even though smart watches are expensive, but it has more facility than fitness device. The only different is that you can connect it to your phone by using blue tooth or Wi-Fi

Google glass is also considered as wearable technology. It shows you the information of the location you are and the direction you want to go.it also shows you the news and incoming messages.
Some features of google glass are:
1) Touchpad: is located on the side of the google glass
2) Camera: google glass have the ability to take photos and record video
3) Display: the explorer version of google glass uses a liquid crystal of silicon

Wearable technology t-shirt often displaying either messages or gif type images. Theses serve no function other to look stylish and fashionable
