Another main point about the disappearance of Natalee Holloway witch hunt is the fact that no factual evidence convicting Van Der Sloot has been found the single person who is accused, meaning that at the end of the day, even this one person cannot be linked to the killing Natalee Holloway The police when starting this investigation interrogated Van Der Sloot, who was with Natalee Holloway when she disappeared. Van Der Sloot revealed his side of the story “saying she choked on her own vomit and in a panic, he threw her off the boat”(Last)(Not that he killed her of course).In Fact this lines up with what Van Der Sloot’s friend was saying as well, besides the fact that after she had died from choking on her own vomit they “buried her body behind a house in a specific location”(Last) admits that the alibi is somewhat true even with some facts being slightly altered. This along with an element of the police not able to gather enough evidence to convict Van Der Sloot of Holloway’s death. Another point within the case is the search area of the place.
