Some of the symptoms of depression are behavioral and physical symptoms. Some of these changes may include sleep, appetite, energy level, concentration, daily behavior, or self-esteem. With depression, you can have thoughts of suicide. An example of suicide I have is I know someone close to me that had depression. One of my friends that worked with my sister she was going thru depression and anxiety at the same time, one day she committed suicide and that was the end of her life. Like an example would be bipolar disorder when people have many personalities. Some of the facts and myths are an example would be of a myth is people with bipolar disorder cannot get better. One of the fact is many people with bipolar disorder lead normal lives like have good careers, family and many more. Bipolar disorder only affects the mood that is one of the myths this article talks about. But it is not true because it affects your energy level, judgement, memory, concentration, appetite and many more. You can also keep your stress level in check like avoid stressful situations, and try some relaxation technique. There are many types of depression those are major depression, persistent depressive disorder, psychotic depression, postpartum depression, seasonal affective disorder, and lastly bipolar disorder. Major depression has severe symptoms that interfere with the ability to work, sleep, study, eat, and enjoy life. Persistent depression disorder talks about a depressed mood that can last for two years. Psychotic depression which occurs when a person has severe depression plus some form of psychosis. Postpartum depression occurs when hormonal and psychical changes and the new responsibility of caring for a newborn can be overwhelming that is what the article said.
