In Daniel Luzer’s article “Is Alcohol Really to Blame for the Prevalence of Sexual Assault of college Campuses?” published in Pacific Standard, Luzer supports the claim that alcohol has little to do with sexual assault in college. The number of sexual assaults in colleges have been on the rise, but the amount of alcohol consumed by university students has changed a small amount. There have been arguments stating that women should drink less, and others insisting that men should reduce their consumption to prevent the attackers from attacking.
