Sara and Anna picked up the umbrellas and left the door. The rain never let up all day. Sara wished to herself that the rain will stop and the fine weather will come tomorrow. They arrived at the nail salon they have visited together quite often. “Hey girls, it’s been a long time! How is your wedding coming along, Anna? Is everything going well?” Suzy came to greet them. Sara and Anna were seated next to each other to get a manicure. Anna did white flower nail and Sara choose purple nail polish for a manicure which was her favorite color. “Congratulations on your marriage. She went out of the room, rubbing her eyes. Mom said to Sara, “We have to leave now! We are late. The bride overslept on her wedding day? No way.” “Wait….why you called me the bride? I know Anna is going to get married today, not me.” Sara laughed because she thought her mom was joking. “You are still saying that. But you can’t say that anymore. Now it’s finally your wedding day! Did you have a good dream last night?” Mom said. She was smiling but it didn’t seem she was joking. Suddenly, Sara went blank. “Mom, what are you talking about…? Nothing has been changed and it reminded Sara of the memory from there. As she recalled the time she had talked with Anna about their ideal marriage life at the coffee shop, she became more depressed. The worker of the coffee shop came to take her order. Sara said, “I’m very sorry and I know I look weird. But I have no money to buy any drink now, as you can see, so just let me sit here for a while. I need some time to think.” “Of course you do.” The worker smiled and nodded as he understood everything. Sara went and sat in the corner of the shop. Her dress was beautifully shining and she couldn’t deny that the wedding day should be really happy day. But today, everything happened so suddenly and it was too much for Sara who was only twenty years old now. Sara began to have inner conflict. “Well, that may be true… I am so nervous about my future marriage life, so that I even forgot that I was getting married today! Anna used to say that this day will come sooner than expected. And like Suzy told me, the day finally came before I knew. Now I understand…” Sara frustrated. “But…I am not ready yet.
