The tale of the pardoner and the wife of bath tell us the prologue and what kind of tale they had and how it makes so important. Therefore, what makes these tales so important in the story and how these characters can either have similar or different points on prologue or tale combine. The pardoner’s tale said that he is a corrupt man who wants money by selling relics that they’re fake and even sings loud for offerings. He says “greed is the root of all evil” considering that he corresponding people by giving their money and wants people to notice him and his tales. He shows relics that, people offer money to him and they didn’t even thought they were fakes. He’s always showing off to people and can be a crook for telling stories
