Censorship in libraries is not needed and unnecessary in our libraries today. Limiting the books in libraries will limit reader's possibilities. The process of censoring material is also nearly impossible as most people are offended by at least one event in every book. If we were to censor material in libraries, we would be discouraging readers and avoiding topics people may want to read about.

Limiting the book choices for readers eliminates the possibilities that people may want to read. Many people simply do not enjoy reading because they are forced to read a certain topic or author. Majority of readers would mch rather read a book they choose and will most likely enjoy it much more. Therefore, if teachers are encouraging their students
