SUMMARY OF ALLEGATIONS A report was received on 06/05/2017 alleging that the mother (Hermionne) left Ashante (C-V 17) with a non-relative since 02/2017 without any legal rights. The mother refuses to take the child back to her home and refuses to provide legal documentation for the child and the caretaker (Traceyann Aarons). According to the report, the mother will not engage with Ms. Aarons and refuses to provide health insurance and social security card documentation in order for Ashante to enroll in school. Ashante has not been is school for the past 4 months and is unable to enroll in school without paperwork. According to the report, Ashante self mutilates her arms, and the mother refuses to get counseling. The report indicates Ashante was to follow-up with a Cardiologist for a chest pain and the mother refuses to take her to the doctor. On December 2016, the child was on a mission trip in Jamaica and was having chest pain; The mother never follow-up with a doctor appointment. The mother does not want her in the home, and she does not feel safe returning home. Ashante indicated that the mother has mental issues, as while at the home the mother will wake her up in the middle of the night to do the dishes, and there were no dishes in the sink. According to Ashante the mother became more abusive after a court hearing from of a case from her sister as, Ashante could not drop the charges against her sister for battering her.
