Captain America The Winter Soldiers

In our government we have an agency that protects not only us but sensitive information that could jeopardize the future of our nation. In the movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier, they had a similar agency. That agency was Shield. Just like the National Security Agency like we have, Shield had eyes and ears everywhere. Nobody is perfect though. Just because they are the National Security agency, doesn’t mean they know about all the threats out there. In Captain America, members of Hydra tried to end Nick Fury’s (the director of shield) life. Attempts have been made to harm presidents in the past, even though something so important should be investigated and stopped, sometimes no body know to stop it. The information could have never

One of the things they did is save one of Steve Rogers friends and then brainwashed him. They turned him into a fighting machine that sought to kill Steve Rogers. Also they downloaded a Swiss scientist to a database that kept him living. This scientist was Arnim Zola. He worked for the Red Skull, who appeared during the first Captain America Movie, during World War II. He explained upon his discovery what Hydra had been doing all these years. Hydra had been behind the scenes in the government waging war with others. For years Hydra had been inside of shield trying to make people feel so unsafe that they would be willing to give up some of their freedom for protection. Even though it may not be the same case, after our country got attacked on 9/11 more measures were and protect the citizens. These measures were meant to try to protect against another terror attack, but in the process some freedoms got taken away. This is exactly what Hydra was going for. They then came up with project insight. This project would launch 3 helicarriers into the air. These helicarriers were equipped with guns that when launched would eliminate anyone that was a threat to Hydra. Even though the NSA wouldn’t go to such drastic lengths, they are still out there to protect against anyone that is a threat to the United

A chip in the system at the bottom of the helicarrier had to be swapped, so Captain America and the Falcon fought to make that happen. They only had a certain amount of time to achieve this mission, and it was achieved at the last minute. All the guns were re-routed to shoot each other instead of all the people. This just goes to show that good prevails in the end. The members of shield who weren’t with hydra fought against them to try and keep things right even if it meant losing their life. We have similar people in the United States who do everything they can to preserve the peace. In the end the United States overcame the attack that happened on 9/11, just like shield overcame the attack that was brought against them. A memorial was built for the people who lost their life on 9/11, and the coordinator of the attacks, Osama Bin Laden, was
