Today many people around the world rely on computers in their workplace, as well as their personal needs. Many people believe that computers are very complex machines that requires a person with a high level of expertise to put one together. Hence, most people spring to just buy one and do not think about that decision very deeply. In reality learning how to assemble a personal computer is not an extremely difficult one. Building a computer is much more cost effective, educates the builders about basic functions of a computer, and there is room for more expansion. When buying a computer people do not learn how to fix their machine if they have any issues. If they do have any issues they must transport the computer back to the place where they purchased it to have it fixed. Contrastingly, a person that builds a computer has a general idea of what parts do each function, because of this they will more easily be able to fix their computer. Secondly, when a buyer purchases a computer from a company that assembles it there will always be extra charges added to the price of the computer. The price that a computer is listed it typically more than the worth of the computer. On the contrary, if the buyer just purchases the parts on their own they will be able to avoid the charges and often save anywhere from one hundred dollars to a thousand dollars (depending on the price of the parts). Often times people want to add certain thing to their computer be it more storage space or more R.A.M. This can be a lengthy process when someone buys a computer because they have to consult with the company and often pay a good amount of money to add that part.
