In the novel Tangerine by Edward Bloor, it will be talking about two families, the Costello’s and the Fisher’s. In the Costello family there are two brothers, Mike and Joey Costello, two very loving brothers. In the Fisher family there are two brothers, Paul and Erick, these two have a very difficult brotherhood. Both set of brothers have been through a rough time, each one has a story of their own. Has your own brother try to kill you? The Costello brothers have a loving relationship in a way where no one could ruin their brother hood. Joey worries about his brother Mike, and Mike offers free rides back home with him, they both care for each other. It states "Joey thought for a moment, than said Mikes getting a bad break you know.” It says here “Right. Tryouts are at four, you need a ride home?” ( page 46). Joey is worried about Mike because Mike is getting a bad break, Mike offers Joey a ride back home with him because he cares about him getting home save. Both brothers put their brotherhood before sports. In conclusion Joey Costello and Mike Costello love each other, no one would break their special bond. …show more content…

Paul does not like his brother Erick because he gets all the attention because of the EFFD. Erick does not have much hate for Paul, but does not give any attention to his brother Paul. It states “I came across a box that said Erick Trophies, i felt a surge of anger…” ( page 12). It also says here “I stammered out, Erick. He tried to kill me.” ( page 3). Erick Fisher and Paul Fisher both don’t pay much attention to each other. In conclusion both brothers don’t like to talk to each
