The day our ship pulled into the(Present Day) North Carolina shore for a break, we didn't know this was our final stop. We learned when our navigator Simon Fernandez wouldn’t let us ( Whites Men) re-board the ship. Our plan was set, where we slept, where we kept all our food, and if we leave or are forced we carve drawings into the tree. Day by day, night by night even more creepier things are happening. Were almost out of food supply down here. Governor White left prior to this problem. Leaving his men, his daughter, and granddaughter behind suffering with minimum food, he was off. In 1587 White returned to England for more supplies. During this supply trip the Spanish war took place, because of this White's return was delayed. This may all been a part of Fernandez’s plan the whole time because, before you knew it John White was back on the ship and Simon sailed him the opposite way of his colony. His plan is to keep White on the ship away from his suffering, abandoned colony, and during this upcoming winter he knew they would not survive without the food to keep them energized. …show more content…
