Stereotypes and misconceptions are used on a day to day basis, these stereotypes and misconceptions form false information that people begin to call the truth. Stereotypes create misconceptions. Stereotypes are formed through some truth based on a person, most of it being wrong. Stereotypes are assumptions made by people Misconceptions of these groups create incorrect and false viewpoints of certain people. These misconceptions have no hard evidence to support them. One group that is misunderstood is blondes. Blondes are seen as an uneducated group, as the stereotype says “dumb blonde”.
Stereotype is a widely held but fixed and oversimplified image or idea of a particular type of person or thing. Stereotypes are used to categorize a group of people, its a widely believed mental picture of a group. Based off of some truth but is mostly exaggerated. Judging someone or a group by not even knowing them is a example of a stereotype. Not all people are the same way just because one person from a certain group is one way doesn't mean the whole group is the same. One stereotype is men are strong and do all the work.
