Unfortunately, the grading system discussed above is not beneficial in identifying the quality of granite flooring; it primarily ranks the relative rarity of the stone. A much better system groups granite stone (and other stones) in 3 grades, inning accordance with its quality: Premium or First grade, Standard or Second grade, and Commercial or Third grade.
A Premium grade stone is completely cut, and has consistent density and little filler. Standard grade stones have a bit more filler or some kind of fault. However, the reasons he uses to support his conclusion are affected by significant ambiguity which weakens the overall argument.

If you look closely, you can see the scrapings of lines made from the tool used to sculpt the stone. In addition, if you look close, you can see that at one time this sculpture was completely covered vibrant colors. At first, I was not aware of what polychrome or gilding was, but apparently, it is in reference to the color or painting of a piece and the technique used. I only realized this while looking under the soldier's clothing. This tells me that the soldiers were dressed in blue uniforms. The reason for the loss of color of the sculpture is unknown to me, but I could figure that since it was created in the thirteenth century, that time has taken its toll, or maybe at one point someone had stripped it of its color.

Physical properties are also called inherent properties or index properties, which describe the rock material and classify them which give information about the performance of rock material under different stress conditions. The different properties of rock depends on the size of rock mass On a megascale the structural properties of the rock mass, such as bedding,
There are two types of Igneous rocks. The first is intrusive, which is when the magma slowly cools beneath the earths surface. Because the magma is cooling slowly it allows the rocks end result to form crystal- like pigments. Examples of intrusive igneous rocks are Diorite, Gabbro, Granite, Pegmatite, and Periodotite. All of these rocks are course and grainy. The other type is an extrusive Igneous rock. This lava erupts onto the surface of the earth and cools rapidly also forming crystals, the lava cools so fast that at times it allows the rocks to form as clear-like glass.
