I agree that they should ban certain books from school there are many reason's why. There many book that contain topics that are unsuitable for young readers. Why put those kind of bad books in school for young readers? There are millions of different book that don't have to be unsuitable for young readers. Many book contain negative stuff such as drugs,bad word,and even racial issues.
Some children shouldn't be exposed to dirty language or book with sexual content. That is why they should ban book from school that contain bad influence on readers. Racial issues on books can be found any were in books. Kids should grow with positive thinking and not negative thinking. Kids would love to read book like adventure,action,and comedy. Those kinds of books don't have negative meanings. You should never judge a book by its cover because the cover may look positive ,but it may be negative.

Kids learn more vocabulary and cite words. They should ban books from school because some contain inappropriate things. Some books my encourage racism towards groups of people. Another reason is because not all books are appropriate for certain groups of people. Small children should not be exposed to books with dirty language or books with sexual context. I know in my experience that there are some books that are "unchristian" and people should not be exposed to those type of thing. Sometimes I had nothing better to do after school while waiting for the bus so I would go to the library and just look for cool books.
Books should be banned because kids can pick up a book that has a nice sounding title and not read the summary. Even though books may influence young minds with negative thinking, society shouldn’t ban books because it prohibits learning and it violates the First Amendment in the Constitution. In the article How Banning Books Marginalizes Children, the author, Paul Ringel, states that approximately fifty-two percent of the books banned in the last ten years illustrate “diverse content”, such as race, religion, gender identity, etc. Ringel believes that attitudes about which books are “appropriate” for kids to read have too often suppressed stories about different cultures and life experiences. He basis his argument around the pretext that when libraries stop the banning it will allow kids to learn how to navigate imaginary worlds filled with differences and apply those lessons to their own lives.
That means because a political viewpoint is offensive to some one, it is inappropriate for a school library. Books including and not limited to, The Scarlet Letter, The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Lord of the Flies, and Animal Farm all have one thing in common. They have all at one time or another been subject to banishment. Some books are just not meant to be read by a variety of different people. Most parents would not want to have their children reading books that have curse words galore. Even though some or even most parents would not have a problem with that, a few would be absolutely furious if they found out their kids were reading what they considered a dirty book. So I believe that schools should ban some books in order to stay away from upsetting parents. When a book is banned, reasoning should be backed up with many facts and teachers should be able to agree or disagree. Teachers are the ones who have graduated from colleges and have earned this right. Though the opinions of parents matter, their opinion does not necessarily take into account all that the book has to give. Parents may not see the potential of the book as a whole. They may just see the racist language or cruel behavior in a book.
