Yes America is a democracy because we have rights as U.S Citizens. Some people think that America is Undemocratic because of how we can’t use some of our rights as Americans, but I strongly disagree with that because we have more rights than any other countries out there. What democracy is looked at today is its that we have presidents and we can vote for whoever we would like to. Not anyone can become president not anyone can be apart of the government and also no one is more powerful than the other in our governments. America is a democracy and it always will be and it always has been.

We switch our presidents every 4 years and if we like the president we have we can elect him again.
