Thanksgiving is one of the most celebrated holidays in America because it’s a time to celebrate with family. This holiday is at number two following right behind the beloved Christmas. That's why it’s so hard to get a flight really close to the Thanksgiving cause so many families travel around this time. Therefore, there are many different ways families celebrate this special holiday. Many families have other friends and family members over while watching the football game with a nice turkey. That is what you except Thanksgiving to be, the conservation way of thing but you would be wrong. Many families celebrate differently from the food they eat, how many Thanksgivings they could get annually, and the amount of family that comes over.
The traditional foods like turkey and multiple pies have always been part of tradition. Some pies are pumpkin, sweet potato, and chocolate. Most people have any different vegetables sure as corn, broccoli, and potatoes. Some people have stuffing but have you heard of oyster stuffing? I haven’t till this kid in my class told me. Some don’t have turkey and they have fish . . . fried blue gill. My friend has this really weird dessert. Her mother takes the guts from inside a pumpkin and mixes it with brown sugar and it sound disgusting. Some time my family just has pizza the eve of Thanksgiving and then we have our traditional Thanksgiving. Just a warning though never come to my aunt’s house for Thanksgiving. We have lasagna but it's not the usual kind. She makes it with mushroom, alfredo sauce and some other things that she might poison us with.
