The lives of celebrities might seem so enchanting from the outside, at some point, they are. Who would not want to have a lot of money, fabulous vacations, enormous houses, a variety of cars, it really seems like a dream, doesn’t it? But if truth be told, “all that glitters is not gold”. Yes, their lives seem to glitter, so do their dresses and suits, however they all struggle with different issues, as normal human beings, but the major one is privacy. Some might think that being open to public is part of being a celebrity and people have the right to know about their lives, while others disagree. From a personal perspective, having a private life is a crucial thing for everyone and celebrities certainly are not exception.

They become celebrities from the moment they are born and since then their safety is in danger. Unfortunately, there have been several incidents with stalkers. According to ‘The Guardian’ in 2013 “Anti-paparazzi legislation championed by Halle Berry has been signed into California law by state governor Jerry Brown.” Berry decided to pass a bill to protect privacy of the children of public figures because of a 27 year old stalker, who tried to get in her house several times. She was also joined by Jennifer Garner. Garner stated "There are violent, mentally-ill stalkers…like the very man who threatened to cut the babies out of my belly. This point can not be argued, they should really have these expectations. “You can’t complain about the pressures, the paparazzi, the madness. Because that is the job. I’ve always understood that’s the deal”- said Avril Lavigne. Her position is true, however, as mentioned before everything needs to be done within boundaries. They do not expect that someone will break into their property, or someone will stalk their children and threaten their life.
