Ansel Adams is assumed to be a masterpiece of photography and my favorite photographer. Photography is an art, an amazing creation by mankind. People have tried different things with it since it’s creation and people have said photography is too literal to compete with works of art because as said it was unable to elevate the human imagination. Photography can also be called an art and photographer often their work like an artist exhibiting their paintings. The word photography comes from Greek word phos, meaning light and graphos, meaning writing, giving the meaning of light writing. Professional Photographer Andreas Gursky said “since the photographic medium has been digitized, a fix definition of the word photography is almost impossible to define. I agree with Gursky to some context as there is so much you can do with a digital camera that you couldn’t do like 50 years ago and it’s amazing to imagine what would it look in future. Before photography was not much practiced and very few practiced it as a profession as people couldn’t make more money. But now it’s different photography has developed and and has a different concept in our society. People can really choose photography as a subject in college and can have a detail study about it. Since my childhood till now it’s been my passion. Every second I’ve lived feels like I’ve lived for it. I m amazed how a piece of paper can capture the beautiful moment of your life and later after sometime looking at the same paper gives you immense pleasure and memories related to it are the sweetest one. To begin with, photography appeared to me as something entertaining, a simple step in which one takes a camera and simply shoot but it’s different, it’s an art in a way how best you can make the moment beautiful. The biggest reason I believe is just the ability of capturing a moment as it happens with just a single click of a button. It’s sure that professionals do the same thing but in an artistic manner. The amazing power of photography to connect our past, associate us in an event, and preserve memories without words or interpretation makes it influential hobby for me. When I was 8, I saw camera for the first time and it literally blew my mind. Well talking about photography it has played a significant role in my life. It gave me an am to live for. I wake up in the morning thinking what will I shot today and in the end of the day I’ll have something to look upon and appreciate technology for creating this masterpiece.
